"Armoured boots"

These boods are made of vinyl and spraypainted with silver paint. Since most spray paints don't work really well on plastic it is best to coat it first. But in the shop where you buy the paint the can probably tell you what is best. To make the boots less silver I aged them with some black paint. Boots are size 42.

Tip
For the boods I used vinyl but it isn't the best material. For the armour of the Uruk-hai I used aluminum plate. It is easy to work with and looks much better. The paint wil come off from the vinyl. For the joints I would use the tings you can see in the picture in Dutch they are called holniet. And for keeping it on the boots I would use elastic straps on the underside of the boots and leather straps with buckles to attach them at the back of your legs.

"Gauntlet"

Sorry, I don't have patterns or better pictures of these gauntlets!
The armoured gloves are made of soda cans and painted silver and black. The are sown unto a glove. I first cut the peices out of paper to fit the and than cut them out of the metal. But be aweare that the metal is very sharp!! This page a used as a gide for the gauntlets http://webhome.idirect.com/~tk421/blackriders.htm
